Sagem my401x Review

E-mail Print PDF

200x150_62006 is all about being slim -- mobile phones are getting so skinny that soon you'll be able to stuff them in the credit card slots in your wallet. Sagem, which in the past has focused on entry-level handsets, is following the big mobile players and launching a range of slim, low to mid-range phones this year in the UK.

T-Mobile BlackBerry 8700g Review

E-mail Print PDF

200x150_5The BlackBerry 8700g is T-Mobile's latest addition to its range of email handhelds. This is a strong offering that features stylish looks and a bright screen perfect for viewing attachments like Word documents. We found the keypad too small to use comfortably, however.

Our review model was from T-Mobile and you can get it free with a £56.25 monthly contract, or for £180 if you pay £15 per month, plus a number of options in between (and various special offers).

Motorola Razr V3i Review

E-mail Print PDF

200x150_4Motorola's original Razr V3 caused quite a stir. It looked like nothing we'd seen before and proved hugely successful, despite a low feature spec. Not a company to sit on its laurels, some of the design elements of the Razr have appeared in subsequent handsets, such as those in the candybar Slvr and the clamshell Pebl.

Nokia 6280 Review

E-mail Print PDF

200x150_3At first glance you'd never guess that the Nokia 6280 is a 3G handset. Yes, it's a little on the fat side and it's larger overall than other sliders, such as the lovely Samsung SGH-D600, but hey, it is a slider, and it doesn't look out of place sitting among of non-3G handsets.

3G might not even be the killer feature for you. There's an FM radio, a reasonably good camera and bundled PC synchronising software to take into account too. And the price is pretty attractive.

Nokia 7380 Review

E-mail Print PDF

200x150_2The Nokia 7380 is the upgraded version of the Nokia 7280 art deco, harmonica-shaped handset. This is a truly fashion-conscious phone that was designed to attract attention. It combines faux leather, brown and beige plastic and mirrored surfaces to create a unique style. However, the small internal memory and lack of keypad are flaws that might make even the most stylish of people turn their noses up at it -- not since the shell suit have fashion victims been so horribly victimised.
