When King Philip II of Spain, decided to invade England in 1588, to depose Elizabeth I, he elected to do it with a fleet of ships 130 strong - the Spanish Armada. While lying at anchor of the coast of Flanders, it was attacked by the British fleet. Demoralized and exhausted the Armada planned a long route for home, around Britain and into the Atlantic, chased by the British. Poor navigation and heavy storms, drew many ships onto the rocks and little more than half of the original invasion force made it back to Spain.

2010 Nissan Altima Coupe 3.5 SR Review

Generally speaking, when an automaker builds a sports coupe that's based on a front-wheel drive mid-size sedan chassis, the outcome tends to be pretty uninspiring. Softly sprung and almost always equipped with an automatic transmission, these so-called sports coupes are usually little more than pretty commuter cars with very little real performance bred into them. To be brutally honest, I had no intention of liking the SLK55. Sure the standard versions of the car are ok... if you're a girl, but this is a pricey piece of machinery and goodness knows most folks can't tell the difference between a $45,000 Hello Kitty-cute convertible and this over $65,000 AMG version. At least Mercedes has beefed up the look of the car over the years since the second-generation model first debuted back in 2004.

2010 Cadillac SRX Luxury AWD Review

When it comes to selling automobiles, particularly the luxurious variety, first impressions are important.Controversial as we’ll admit the Cadillac CTS is compared to sophisticated vehicles like the BMW 5 Series or Mercedes E-class, making a big splash is part of what the luxury crossover segment is all about and so we’d call into question anyone’s sanity who didn’t find the SRX a more attractive piece of driveway jewellery than pretty much anything else in this price range.
